Dr. Michael Barrett
Dr. Barrett was born and raised in the Richmond area, where his interest in dentistry was first sparked by observing his father, a dedicated general dentist. His father’s passion for dentistry and commitment to patient care left a lasting impression on Dr. Barrett, showing him that dentistry is about more than just restoring smiles; it’s about building lifelong relationships and promoting oral health. Watching his father’s compassion and devotion, Dr. Barrett learned the importance of always prioritizing the comfort, needs and best interests of patients.
Dr. Barrett demonstrates a broad range of interests and expertise. Following dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, Dr. Barrett pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. This prestigious program allowed him to master complex multidisciplinary treatment plans and full mouth rehabilitations, significantly enhancing the aesthetics and functionality for his patients.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. Barrett enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He and his wife, Caitlyn, enjoy exploring the outdoors, attending sporting events, and discovering new breweries and restaurants. He is especially excited to return to his hometown and begin serving the community where he grew up.
